ENGL 202 - INTRO TO WORLD LIT II |
An introduction to world literature from the mid-17th century to the present, including oral traditions, poetry, fiction, the essay, and drama. Emphasis is placed on key ideas that express the commonality of the human spirit and experience across cultures. Students read, analyze, and respond critically to texts in class discussions, examinations, and essays. Students may enroll in ENGL 202 without having taken ENGL 201. (HUMD [GCP]) PREREQUISITE: A grade of C or better in ENGL 101 or ENGL 101A or consent of department. Three hours lecture/discussion each week.
